Augusta Agribusiness x Cross Creek High School: Building the Next Generation of Agripreneurs

Recently, the Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce Agribusiness Committee, represented by Chimere J Brown and LaShawndra Robinson, had the honor of joining the CTAE (Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education) Advisory Coouncil at Cross Creek High School.

We’re excited to partner with educators and students to help shape future career pathways in agriculture, agribusiness, and farm-to-table entrepreneurship. A heartfelt thank you to Educator Chante Luckie for making it all happen and for her unwavering passion for her students’ futures. When she calls, we gladly rearrange our schedule — because we know her efforts always create opportunities that inspire the next generation of agripreneurs.

Through this collaboration, students will gain real-world experience and mentorship — including on-the-job training where they’ll learn firsthand what it takes to grow, teach, and thrive in the agricultural sector. Together, we’re planting seeds for the next generation of changemakers — one classroom, one season at a time.
