New Resource for Artists — Explore the Greater Augusta Arts Council Lending Library

Dear Arts Community,

The Greater Augusta Arts Council is excited to share an incredible resource now available to all active members — the Creative Collaboration Resource Hub (Lending Library)!

Thanks to generous funding from the Hurricane Helene Crisis Fund of The Community Foundation for the Central Savannah River Area, our Lending Library offers artists and arts organizations access to tools, tech, and equipment that support creativity across disciplines.

Members can borrow items for up to five business days — from lighting kits and easels to sewing machines, DJ gear, and pottery tools — all free with your membership. Whether you’re a visual artist, musician, dancer, designer, or creative entrepreneur, this library helps you create, collaborate, and grow.

🖌️ Available resources include:

  • Visual Arts: easels, mat cutters, scanners, photo backdrops

  • 3D / Craft: pottery tools, Cricut, heat press, wood burning kits

  • Music / Audio: microphones, DJ equipment, lighting, speakers

  • Theater / Performance: fog machines, projectors, ring lights

  • Shared Tools: iPads, laptops, printers, sewing machines, power stations

🪪 Borrowing Policy Highlights:

  • Five business-day checkout period

  • Valid photo ID required

  • Late fees begin after two days past due ($5/day)

  • Members are responsible for damaged or unreturned items
